We have been working on a whale of an exclusive collaboration with Art East Quilting Co. since last Spring. The Shiplap Quilt Shop is located in Olympia, WA where resident Orcas visit the Puget Sound. They are the inspiration for the new Ollie the Orca pattern. When choosing fabrics we couldn't decide between doing the quilt kits in batiks or regular quilting cotton, so we decided to offer both. That's how Kiki the Killer Whale was born.
